Ruth Alma Weller

Ruth Alma Weller, 82, of Logansport, passed away at 7:58 p.m. Tuesday, August 17, 2010, in the emergency room of Logansport Memorial Hospital.

She was born October 1, 1927 in Logansport, Indiana, she was the daughter of William and Pearl Schreckenghaust Spencer.

She was married October 14, 1956, in Kirklin, to Russell O. Weller, who preceded her in death October 15, 1996.

She was retired from General Tire where she had worked for 32 1/2 years as an inspector.

Ruth attended All Saints Catholic Church. She was also a member of the AFL-CIO.

Surviving are Son, Mike Miller and his wife Vicki, of Logansport; 1 Daughter, Billie Titus and her husband Lee, of Logansport; 3 Step-sons, Gerald Weller of Weirsdale, Harry Weller of Logansport, and Thomas Weller of Orlando, FL; several grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one daughter, Carol Crist, and two brothers.

Funeral Information

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, August 21, 2010, in Fisher Funeral Chapel, with Deacon Juan Rodriguez officiating.

Friends may call from 10 a.m. until the time of services on Saturday in the funeral chapel.

Interment will follow in the Mount Hope Cemetery, Logansport, Indiana.
