Ottilie Mueller, 97 years old of Lafayette, IN, died Sunday, July 25, 2010 in St. Anthony Health Care.
She was born December 7, 1912 in Bristol, CT, to the late Gustav and Jacobiena (Kiesel) Jabs. Ottilie graduated from Miss Perry's Finishing School and Secretarial School. She was employed by Aetna Life Insurance as an Efficiency Expert for 4 years.
On October 14, 1936 in Bristol, CT at Emmanuel Lutheran Church she married George Mueller; he preceded her in death on June 8, 1987.
She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church and the Lutheran Women's Missionary League. She loved reading, traveling, and staying in contact with all family members.
Surviving are 3 daughters, Carol M. Natale (husband: Joseph) of Surprise, AZ, Ruth N. Kusel (husband: Ronald) of Long Beach, CA, Betty M. Cook (husband: Peter) of Lafayette; and a son, Rev. Daniel Mueller (wife: Sharon) of San Antonio, TX. Also, surviving are 9 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George Mueller; a daughter, Esther M. Papp; and 6 siblings.
Funeral Information
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Grace Lutheran Church, Wednesday, July 28, 2010 at 7:00 pm with Rev. Edward Morrow, Rev. Dr. Daniel Mueller, and Rev. Dr. Ronald Kusel officiating.
Interment will be in Pine Lawn Cemetery in New York.
