Easton Gray Kitchel

Easton Gray Kitchel, 1 yr. old, of Logansport, passed away at 5:55 a.m. Tuesday, July 6, 2010, in the Peyton Manning Children's Hospital, Indianapolis.

Born June 15, 2009, in Indianapolis, he was the son of Eric and Sarah (Little) Kitchel. His parents survive in Logansport.

Easton was a very special gift from God who touched the hearts of his family and everyone who knew him. Despite his limitations, his courage, strength, and determination to live inspired those who loved him. His beautiful smile and gentle, happy spirit brought a smile to everyone's face. He was a blessing to have as a son, and was greatly loved by his big brother, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins and his church family at Spring Creek Christian Church.

Surviving with his parents are his big brother, Liam Carter Kitchel, at home; maternal grandparents, Morris and Carol Little, of Logansport; paternal grandparents, Jay and Sara Kitchel, of Logansport; maternal great-grandmother, Martha E. Snyder, of Logansport; paternal great-grandfather, Sam Kitchel, of Logansport; maternal aunt, Suzannah (Joshua) Leicht, of Kokomo; maternal uncle, Thomas Little, of Fishers; paternal aunt, Laura (Mitch) Karnafel, of Logansport; paternal uncles Ryan (Heidi) Kitchel, of Logansport, and Scott (Wendy) Kitchel, of Indianapolis; and many cousins and extended family members.

He was preceded in death by maternal great-grandparents, Norman and Marie Little, and Donald M. Snyder; paternal great-grandparents, Francis and Louella Carter, and Betty Kitchel; and one uncle, Edward Little.

Funeral Information

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 10, 2010, in Fisher Funeral Chapel with Pastor Kyle Gennicks officiating. Friends may call from 9 a.m. until the time of services Saturday in the funeral chapel.

Interment will be in Spring Creek Christian Cemetery.

Donations Information

Memorial contributions may be made to the Easton Kitchel Memorial Fund. Envelopes will be available at the funeral chapel.
